| Vice President of Business Development: WeeWorld is looking for an experienced and results-orientated business development leader to join the company. The Business Development VP will close and maintain global partnerships and contribute to creating our strategy in key markets.
We are looking for an experienced business development executive to plan and drive our partner efforts.
As a leader of this area, you will be targeting high level meetings with potential partners, negotiating agreements and managing the relationships going forward. These relationships will increase WeeWorld’s footprint with games and media properties in the teen demographic. If you’re experienced dealmaker with social media and games experience this may be the perfect opportunity for you.
As part of WeeWorld, you will:
Develop a formal plan and aggressively prospect, evaluate and identify the best opportunities
Sell at the C-Level down
Plan, prepare and execute high impact face-to-face meetings with partners
Identify and develop a strong understanding of partner’s core objectives and challenges
Present WeeWorld’s core value proposition to partners
Analyse the potential UV and revenue opportunities from these partners
Oversee the our API program
Develop business proposals
Ensure that each opportunity is developed to its full potential
Te position will require international travel and daily communication with teams in Europe and the US.
| Required Skills and Experience:
You must be a hands-on team player, have a clear commercial profile, show drive, passion, energy and motivation and possess the following competencies:
Very strong business development and negotiation skills – minimum of 5 years experience in the digital space
Solid relationships and contacts with new and old media and games companies
In depth understanding of new media and games spaces, industry trends, technologies and business models; games, virtual world or social networking background is a bonus
Excellent communication and presentation skills
A creative thinker with strong interpersonal skills
Experience and demonstrable successful track record of developing new business partnering and distribution channels
