Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with international accounting policies, procedures and controls for international entities
Work with local / foreign CPA firm to ensure that transactions are accurately and timely recorded in the financial statements and local compliance requirements are met
Manage the monthly close process for the international books (calendar, journal entries, reconciliations, FX rates maintenances, intercompany accounts, consolidations, eliminations, analysis, reporting)
Provide expertise on the treatment of accounting transactions and related financial reporting requirements
“Own” the accuracy and timeliness of the international accounting function
Perform monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliation
Assist with the production and preparation of consolidated financial statements
Assist with the execution of quarterly reviews and year-end financial audits
Provide analysis on financial results (historical trends, work drivers, benchmarks)
Assist finance and the operating business units with international accounting and reporting related matters
Assist with the execution of quarterly reviews and year-end financial audits
Drive to continuously improve the international accounting and reporting process
Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Qualifications:

Degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred
Minimum of seven years overall General Accounting Experience, high tech industry & Big 4 experience a plus
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, particularly FASB ASC 830 and IFRS
Strong financial systems background (Oracle R12 a plus)
Ability to mine, manipulate and analyze large quantities of data (Excel, Access, SQL)
Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail a must
Must be a self-starter and team player and able to work in a fast paced and changing environment
Strong understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance
Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills required
Strong time management, ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
Multi-lingual is a plus
