Brief Description:

YuMe is currently seeking an Ad Operations specialist who has the proven ability to understand, thrive, and deliver exceptional results on behalf of our partners who utilize our technology solutions. The right candidate has relevant industry experience, is resourceful, analytical and required to manage and optimize a varied list of campaigns across all world markets.

Summary Description:

We are looking for someone with proven experience within ad operations, with in-depth exposure to the programmatic space. In this role, you will work on YuMe’s programmatic platforms YFN and YFA. The Ad Operations specialist drives ongoing cross-functional collaboration working closely with operations, engineering, finance, sales, product marketing and product management.

Responsibilities:

Be the internal expert on Ad operations for YuMe’s programmatic platforms. This includes training and demos for internal teams.
Ensure all tactical media plan requirements are correctly implemented in YuMe’s platform (YFN & YFA) consoles, while creating best practices and processes for delivering video advertising campaigns.
Work closely with product and participate in the introduction of new features & capabilities for our programmatic platforms.
Function as the key internal point of Ad Operations contact for pacing optimization, troubleshooting, performance analysis, reporting, billing and related campaign duties
Be the key technical person to combine market & technical knowledge, data analysis and client feedback to configure and optimize complex campaigns to meet client objectives
Develop internal trafficking best practices with an emphasis on tagging infrastructure, establishing trafficking guidelines and educating on proper timelines.
Manage internal and external agency trafficking process including tagging, set-up and QA.
Communicate with internal product teams to stay abreast of latest product updates and user tests that might impact user flow
Build and maintain key communications and relationships with internal and direct customers, and act as a trusted technical advisor for our programmatic offerings.
Qualifications:

2 to 3 years of experience in digital marketing with a leading online advertising agency, network, DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, ad networks & aggregators, ad servers, and/or other optimization platforms
Strong understanding & experience with programmatic Ad operations is required.
In-depth knowledge of ad targeting methodologies and various pricing models
Familiarity with creative testing, media formats and digital/mobile technologies
Familiarity with VAST, VPAID, HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript, and other digital/mobile advertising technologies and web traffic analysis tools (Chrome developer tools, Charles, Fiddler, Firebug, etc.)
Strong interest of the digital video space, digital market trends, brand measurement metrics, analytics, solve problems, and clearly communicate results
In-depth knowledge of the ad operations process across all digital channels inclusive of display, video and mobile
Deep understanding of the principles of ad serving, analytics, DSPs/DMPs/SSPs, media buying, pixel implementation, CPA/ROI optimization, retargeting, mobile and video specific strategies.
Excellent communication skills.
