Role Description

As a HRIS Analyst- Workday in the Dropbox ITS organization, you will support the Dropbox HR system projects that are laying the foundation for Dropbox’s core internal systems. You’ll partner multi-functionally with business partners across the organization to deliver solutions for Dropbox’s unique internal business needs. These projects help Dropbox mature from a systems perspective; The analyst, HRIS will work on multiple projects, support the business processes, acting as a subject matter expert. This includes writing specification, development and implementation of new or redesigned systems, reports and policies and procedures for internal use.

Responsibilities

  • As an SME, you provide the functional expertise regarding HRIS (Workday), as well as other HR systems tools, supporting processes and reporting
  • Work and support semi-annual Workday updates. Lead the designs and executes implementation and upgrade methodology, testing, budgeting, project metrics, and status reporting
  • Support the critical issues
  • Configuration/Setup of business data
  • Design and maintenance of application (Workday) security
  • Contribute to change management and training efforts
  • Act as a liaison between the People Ops team and key business partners including Finance, Payroll, IT and Internal Audit. Build and handle stakeholder relationships with the ability to keep them engaged, responsible and dedicated in working toward deliverable goals and objectives
  • Lead the technology or process projects, including running project team activities, tasks, deliverables and timelines. Tracks project progress and manages expectations through successful project completion
  • Recommend plans for continued process improvements, system enhancements and new applications to support business strategies and operational needs
  • Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries. Develop and optimize standard reports for ongoing customer needs
  • Acts as a liaison between the internal project team, executive team and other key stakeholders
  • Provides regression testing and contingency plans to assure project objectives are met
  • Seeks innovative ways to improve the process of delivering solutions to employees
  • Consistently produce clear, concise and accurate status reports 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience handling Workday projects
  • Minimum 3 years Workday HR functional experience with at least two of the following products: Core HCM (required), Recruiting, Performance Management, Learning, Time-Tracking and Absence Management
  • Experience in a consulting or other professional services environment strongly preferred
  • Strong technical aptitude, technology knowledge desired
  • Proven project management experience in a global environment is a strong plus
